A great looking old Vincent motorcycle with a massive engine, sorry to say I did not register which model this is. Anyone?

This I believe is Vincent HRD 1000 around 1956
Every thing unbolted from the engine to clean it.
High quality engineering.As a lad I used to watch a neighbour do it once every month, what a fantastic machine.

As a lad I used to watch my father playing cricket and one of the team had a Vincent. He would give me a ride round the ground before play started.
I understand they are worth an absolute fortune now.

That's a Shadow. Fastest production bike out of a crate in 1951. Bought mine in 1960, cost £109. Worht around £30 + now. Wish I still had it !
